More Information about the new Agreement and Talking Points from our November Senate meeting are available under Member Resources – Bargaining & Meeting Minutes.

Our website is designed to inform and educate you on matters that are important to ESP’s.  Check out the Member Resources Tab for updates on the new contract under Bargaining, News tab for current events and issues, Calendar tab for training and association events and the Member Resources Tab for updates and important information from the monthly association Senate (building representative) meetings.

I hope you are taking advantage of the many perks available to you as a member.  Discounts, coupons, drawings, great car and home insurance rates and many other benefits all through IEA-NEA. Share your stories with us on how you take advantage of these benefits.  For even more information, events and benefits of being a member of IPCA and the Illinois Education Association, click on the following link: ESPs in Action 2018-19.  For more information on License renewal, check out http://www.isbe.net or watch this short ISBE video which explains the process.

We are dedicated to seeing all ESP’s receive the respect we deserve in being treated fairly, honestly and in compensation.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact your building’s Senator or me, Lisa Ramos.   Thank you for all you do every day for our students and IPCA.

Watch out for Deceptive mailings

If you have not heard by now, some IPCA members have received unsolicited junk mailing from a group called Illinois Policy Institute (IPI).   We have learned IPI is an anti-union group specifically targeting school districts, including Indian Prairie, in an attempt to weaken your employee rights.  If you receive an IPI mailer, we are advising members to either discard or write – “Return to Sender” and #StrongerUnited on the envelope and return it to sender.

Sadly, the IPI junk mail does NOT even refer to your local association, Indian Prairie Classified Association.  What does that tell you?

Your IPCA membership provides significant liability protection and representation should an adverse employment action occur (click here to see member rights and benefits).  Don’t be deceived by their half truths.  Still have questions about what the IPI is?  View this video or for more information click here.

Remember:  Together we can do what we cannot do alone.
